Fantastic Maths in Nursery and Reception
The Nursery children are enjoying a range of mathematical activities in class that include singing number songs, counting with one to one correspondence, saying numbers in order from 1 to 5 and beyond and using objects and their fingers to represent number.

In Nursery the children are engaging with 2D shape activities. They are learning new vocabulary linked to shape such as square, triangle, circle, rectangle, sides, straight, flat and round.
