A report showed the team what happened when the egg was exposed to lots of light or no light at all. It seemed to become stressed and start to crack when the window was transparent. It seemed to prefer a translucent window and some time in the dark. They tested materials and changed the window to make it translucent. They even added an opaque flap.

The egg needed to be protected from damage. Which way of manipulating paper would be most effective?Flat sheets didn't work at all. Ripped and scrunched paper seemed to protect the egg the most.

How can materials be changed? Can they be ripped, scrunched, twisted, stretched or bent?

The cages in the animal rescue center needed cleaning. The team wondered if all paper was absorbent?

We tried to make winds of different strengths. Which would make the paper boat travel furthest?

Will paper boats last forever? Does the type of paper matter? We observed paper boats over time, after first predicting which type of paper boat would last the longest.
