SCHOOL LUNCHES
School lunches are provided every school day by Aspens Catering Services.
Lunchtimes are :
Reception - 11.20am - 12.20pm
Year 1 - 11.45am-12.45pm
Year 2 - 11.45am-12.45pm
Year 3 & 4 - 11.55am -12.55pm.
The children are supported by our fantastic team of Children's Supervisors to eat their lunch and enjoy some free time outdoors with their classmates.

We make sure that our Food Festival lunch menus are packed with comfort dishes and, at the same time, we help pupils to take their first steps with new tastes to explore. We make the most of fruit and vegetables that are in season, because that's when they taste best and are the most planet friendly too.'
FREE SCHOOL MEALS

IF YOU ARE IN RECEIPT OF FREE SCHOOL MEALS AND HAVE A CHILD STARTING IN RECEPTION YOU MUST ADD THEM TO YOUR CURRENT CLAIM
Universal Infant Free School Meals
All children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 are entitled to receive Universal Free School Meals . Over a school year this can save you up to £446 so it gives your child a chance to experience new tastes and fuels their bodies for the rest of the learning day.
Meal ordering system
Each day there is a Main meal, Vegetarian meal, Pasta option, Jacket Potato or a Ham or Cheese Sandwich together with the dessert of the day.
There is also a daily salad bowl, fresh bread , cut fruit, yoghurt and jelly.
Meals MUST BE ORDERED DAILY BY 9.15AM via ParentPay - please see attached for details of how to complete this. Any problems please contact the school office who will be happy to help you.
The cost of a school meal is £2.35 per day.
THEMED MENU - THURSDAY 16th MAY 2024
If you do not want to take the option of a lunch from the catering company , you can send your child with a packed lunch. Please ensure that this is in a named bag.
Please do not include sweets, fizzy drinks or chocolate bars. Penguins,wafer biscuits etc such as 2 finger kit-kats are acceptable.
PLEASE NOTE THAT SCHOOL LUNCHES ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR NURSERY CHILDREN .
DRINKS - Water bottles if supplied by you are available all day in the classroom and can be taken to lunch but if you would like to supply another option for lunchtimes ie squash please feel free to do so.
