The children have been learning all about 2D shapes.
This has included:
1) Recognising and naming them
2) Counting their sides and vertices
3) Drawing around shapes and drawing them with a ruler
4) Exploring and making vertical lines of symmetry
5) Sorting them in different ways
Money
The children have learning about coins up to 50p.
1) They have held and manipulated the coins to drawed upon their similarities and differences.
2) They have recognised the value of coins to 20p by using manipulatives.
3) Now they begin to make combinations up to 20p in lots of different real life contexts. This topic is all about practicing!
