Ruby's Worry by Tom Percival
Nursery have been exploring emotions and have been learning about Ruby's Worry by Tom Percival. The children were introduced to new vocabulary and made marks on paper to represent their own writing. It was lovely to hear one child say, "Mrs Bailey, I can actually write!" We are very proud of the children's work.

Spring Term Mantle of the Expert and Writing
The Polar Bear Protectors (Nursery) have discovered a polar bear in the winter woods. He is in the wrong habitat and needs returning to the Arctic. The team drew pictures and made marks to represent their writing as they shared ideas of how to solve the problem.

Katie and the Sunflowers
The children have been learning about Spring and growing and caring for plants and flowers in class. Today we looked at a page in the story Katie and the Sunflowers. Grandma Fantastic shared some new words with us to describe flowers. We clapped the syllables for “ dazzling, bright and golden.” We then thought of our own words and wrote these down by making marks on paper. We read our work to Mrs Bailey.
