SCIENCE
Crest (yes, the toothpaste people!) have some detailed science activities aimed at primary aged children. There is a guidance booklet and a booklet of activities, as well as a certificate you can print on completion. Star level is aimed at children from 5-7 years old.
GEOGRAPHY
We have been finding out about life in Amman and Petra in Jordan. They are in Asia. Petra is in the desert. What can you find out about deserts? Are deserts always hot? Which plants live in a desert? Which living creatures live in a desert? Where are different deserts found in the world? The DK Find Out website has lots of information about deserts (and plenty more to explore on that site, too!)
