  • Harvest Donations

    We have had a wonderful response to our harvest challenge. There were so many tins and packets it took a whole class of children to bring them in. The Salvation Army as always are particularly grateful for the kindness and warmth of the Woodrow community.

    Friday assemblies are great fun. We see fabulous work from across the school and hear about children doing their very best. You are always welcome.
  • Parents Evenings

    Thank you to all of you who came to Parents Evenings this week. We have had more parents attending than ever before. There was a wonderful positive feel to the sessions. Thank you also for all the positive feedback. Working together to achieve the best outcomes for Woodrow children is what we are all about.

  • Mantle of the Expert Study Day

    There were visitors from Wales, Manchester and Redditch in school this week to see how our staff and children work using Mantle of the Expert.

    Our friends from the north said: "Thanks for such a warm welcome. A fabulous school and team. Lots to think about! Feel energised ands motivated ...All schools should send their staff here. An absolute oasis of loveliness and learning."

    We agree - Woodrow is a lovely school.

  • Harvest at Woodrow

    We will be holding our annual 'tins around the track' harvest collection on Monday 22nd October in aid of the Salvation Army and their food parcels. Our fabulous families are incredibly generous every year. How many metres of tins can we collect?

    Please ensure children bring the appropriate clothes in this very wet weather. Coats for break times and shoes that are waterproof.
