• World Book Day

  We will celebrate World Book Day on Friday and have asked children bring to school an object that is linked to a character from a book. It could be Harry Potter's wand or the Demon Headmaster's glasses or use your imagination! If you can't come up with an idea - don't worry because the best thing any parent can do on World Book Day is share a book with their children.

• Cross Country

  The children who entered the Pyramid cross country finals did Woodrow proud and our school came second overall. Another local Headteacher commented upon the tremendous effort and attitude of our children. Well done to all those involved.

• Outside Gym Equipment

  Over half term we have had a new addition to the school field. We are thrilled with the outdoor gym equipment and the children will have the opportunity to use it regularly.

  Before and after school children must be supervised by parents if they are using the equipment. This will help us to ensure the equipment is used safely.

  

• Storytelling with Bob Hartman at Christ Church, Matchborough on Saturday 16 March

  Bob Hartman, author will be in school on Friday 15 March for storytime with the children.  There will also be a further storytelling event at Christ Church on the Saturday 11.00am - 12.30pm.

  We attended your wonderful Christmas Play this afternoon and want to send our congratulations to everyone

  concerned: it was truly amazing:) The singing was beautiful (and we loved the donkey song!), the words were clearly and expressively delivered and the prayers were very touching.
