• Welcome Back

• Mantle of the Expert Study Day

  We welcomed 15 visitors to school on Tuesday (12 from Wales) to see how we teach using Mantle of the Expert. They were fascinated at just how much our children love learning; how our children are so articulate; how skilled Woodrow staff are; and how calm our school is. We welcome these lovely comments.

• Lads and Dads

  We will be running the popular Lads and Dads in late June for 5 weeks. This will be open to lads (from Year 2 upwards) and their dads. Please speak to the school office if you would like a place.

• Thank you all for coming to Sports Day. It was a fabulous festival of Sport. The arrangements meant it ran as smoothly as Mo Farah in the home straight. Lunchtime was such as a joy; sharing lunches with families in such wonderful sunshine turned our field into Murray Mound at Wimbledon. Our school communityis fantastic.

• Music Mark

  The school has been awarded the Music mark. This is in recognition of the value the school places on music within the curriculum. We were nominated by the local music hub. A big 'Well done' to Miss Capron-Tee and Mr Clements for all their hard work - and of course, our fabulous children. At Woodrow we know our crotchets from our quavers. 

• Year 4 trip

  Y4 are visiting the Arboretum in Staffordshire as part of their Mantle. Please see the letter about the trip for all information regarding times and lunches etc.

• Academy Update

  We were informed by the Department for Education that our Academy Application will proceed no further. The Governing Body will review its future vision and plans for the school. We will keep you fully informed as our plans progress.

• Reception Class 2018-2019

  Please note our Reception class is full for September. If you do not have a place for September please speak to the school office or Worcestershire Admissions so that you can go onto a waiting list.
