    Keep an eye on the Praise Blog - we don't have stickers or zone boards at our school but we do have hundreds of children who see the 'reward' in their work and their learning.
  • Summer Term

    Year 3 and 4 were out of school last week on visits to Lower Smite Farm and Birmingham University. It is great that our children benefit from going on so many trips and also get so much from these excursions. The children are always a credit to our school community when they venture near and far.We are fortunate to have teachers who are prepared to put so much time and effort into leading out of school activities. 
  • Easter Celebrations

    Thank you for coming to our assemblies today. They were a fitting way to end the term - well done to all  those involved.

    Children will be coming home with two eggs today. One as a gift from Woodrow First School and the other was a kind donation from the Lear Corporation.  

  • Country Dancing

    There were whoops and twirls as the parents and children joined together for country dancing. It could be  that the parents enjoyed it even more than the children.
  • Parents Evening: Monday and Wednesday

    We will be holding our Spring Term Parents Meeting on Monday 27th (3.15-5.15) and Wednesday 29th (5.00-7.00). Please make sure you have an appointment. We respectfully request children are not brought to the meetings.
  • Performing Arts Club

    We were treated in assembly to a great performance of "I'd Do Anything" - singing, dancing and signing. Well done to the club!

    Earlier in the week they had performed at Tudor Grange and Head teacher Jodie Bolter emailed to say; "I just wanted to say Woodrow children were wonderful".

    We are so proud of our children.

  • Miss Dodds steals the show

    Miss Dodds spent the morning telling Heads  at a Conference all about our running track. There is a lot of interest in what we are doing at Woodrow.
