    School was jam packed, like Tesco's on Christmas Eve, for the Christmas Fayre. We were thrilled so many people came and spent so generously. We will have a final figure soon but we think we may have well beaten all records. Thank you

    Thank you to the wonderful audiences who came to see all of the different Christmas services in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The children are always so well prepared by the school staff and never fail to do themselves proud.
  • Tudor Grange Christmas Crafts

    The new head at Tudor Grange, Jodie Boulter, has invited Woodrow families to free Family Christmas Craft seesions. We will have full use of their expertise and their Art Department. This is a great after school opportunity to get into the festive spirit. email amoulton@redditch.tgacademy.org.uk if you would like to book a space for yourselves and your children

    Thank you for coming to Open Day last week. The children who showed visitors around school did a tremendous job. They are all future tour guides.
  • Children in Need

    Thank you for the donations for Children in Need. There were Pudsey Bears everywhere. We raised £297.89
  • Harvest Donations

    Thank you all for all of the food stuffs you sent in for 'tins on the track'. We went much further than the bench so smashed the Woodrow target. A brilliant effort by all. The Salvation Army were delighted we had collected so much and will come to school on Tuesday. Well done to Mrs Marshall's class for bringing all the tins and packages into school. Great helpers.
  • Olympian at Woodrow

    Thank you to Sara Treacy - a Rio Olympics finalist in the Steeplechase for coming to school on Wednesday. She gave up her day off and talked with children as well as having a jog on the track. It is great when people who don't need to be bothered, really are bothered for our children.

  • Professor Gary Crew to visit Woodrow

    We look forward to welcoming Gary Crew to Woodrow on June 20th - when he will be working with Year 4. He is the author of the fantastic 'The Watertower'. All of our year 4s will tell you how amazing the book it. They are wholly immersed in its mysterious plot. Professor Crew is coming all the way from Australia to see us. He will be leading a workshop for adults after school too.
