  • Opening the Running track

    Thu 28 Apr 2016 RK

To celebrate this fantastic development on our school grounds we will be having an opening ceremony at 10.00am on Friday 29 April.

The morning will begin with a whole school warm up to music with Mrs Tolley and Mrs Paxton. Jim Mutton, a Redditch United footballer, will officially open the track.

Parents with their children are then invited to take part in a whole school conga around the track!

There will be a clear marker on the field explaining where each year group needs to line up ready for their conga line. Parents are kindly asked to meet their child at this marker, so they can join in with their child’s class. If you have more than one child in school, then you need to inform their class teacher if they are joining another class line.

We have also invited the local newspaper to attend to capture the morning’s events. It will be an enjoyable morning and we hope you can experience it with us.
