  • Amber Storm Warning

    Thu 17 Feb 2022

AMBER STORM WARNING - Friday 18th February

The Head of Childrens Services for Worcestershire has advised schools to make their own risks assessments in light of the storm warning for tomorrow.

As things stand at the moment, we will be open.

Schools are closing if they are in the red warning areas - Wales, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and Ireland.

We will be monitoring the conditions closely from early in the morning and will close if the school grounds are dangerous. For instance we will be checking for any damage to the buildings or to trees. We will also need to make sure that we have enough staff who can travel into school safely.

We advise you to think about your own journey into school. Try not to be too early to avoid having to wait around.

We may keep children indoors at playtimes if we feel this is safer for them.

Please make sure we have an up to date contact number for you and you have your Scholarpack account activated. If we need to close during the school day we will use Scholarpack as our first way of contacting everyone at the same time.

We will post updates if we have any.

    Thanks

  • September 2021 Welcome Back

    Tue 24 Aug 2021

    Welcome back

We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone back again in September and to meeting our newest children and families too. (There is separate information about induction procedures for new starters.)

There will still be a whole range of feelings whilst coronavirus is still part of everyday life and these feelings are perfectly normal and understandable.

However, we will continue to support each other and do our best to keep each other as safe as possible. Please click on the Parents tab to find our September 2021 Covid Protective Measures information.

  • Year 1 bubble closure

    Thu 15 Jul 2021

Dear Parents of Year One Children,

We have had to close the Y1 bubbles this morning. We were told send letters to the rest of the school which advised of a 'positive case'. We are still awaiting a result from  a PCR test to confirm this. As soon as we know more we will let you know. As things stand the message we are told to give you  is the same as when we spoke to you this morning - children should not be in school tomorrow and need to isolate. We absolutely understand your concerns and frustration at the contradictory information and advice from the authorities.

We will be in contact tomorrow.

    Yours sincerely

    Richard Kieran
